We had a great afternoon at the pumpkin patch on Saturday. We did not, however, come home with any pumpkins. We ran out of time! We played in the hay maze. We saw the farm animals. We held kittens and petted bunnies. We played in the play area and swung on the swings. We had a hayride and rode the cow train. We ate yummy baked goods and drank hot cider. Then it was time to go see some friends visiting from out of state.
We did not make it to this farm last year but check out the memories from two years ago. Some times it still amazes me that there is a new baby in my baby carrier. That we have been here long enough to have two babies here. My how my pumpkins have grown! I think I love my fall pictures better than even Christmas ones for comparing growth and time.
We will be off to this farm today to pick out some pumpkins to carve with friends. I have a giant pork roast waiting to be immersed in cider with some potatoes and carrots. We will heat some cider with yummy spices in our giant percolator. I will spread our giant green tarp across the living room floor. The carving utensils will come out and we will make some memories with some dear friends. I will whip up some salted caramel sauce and we will dip some apples in it. I think fall memories are some of the best memories to be made.
Sounds like a super fun time. Can't wait to see more pics, loved these!!
