I had a great time planning our lunch. We had a salad bar at home. I made up bread in mini-loaf pans. Ralph rotisseried a chicken. In addition to the chicken, we had diced ham, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, red pepper, celery, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, mandarin oranges, croutons, seasoned almond slivers, seasoned onion crisps, homemade ranch dressing, and this dressing. For the fresh bread, we had butter, local raw honey, and wild blueberry preserves. There was sweet tea, water and coffee to drink. It was such a fun lunch! Each of the girls is special in her own way and of course having Aunt Dawn here is always a blessing. It's so nice to have family within a reasonable drive. It was great to see Sharmane and
We followed that fantastic visit with a brief recoup time and then our LifeGroup. It was so great to see them! We had missed a few weeks due to illnesses and things (and were still short a couple people) but it was nice to get back in the groove. There is just something so precious about breaking bread and breaking open the Word with others.
So glad they were able to come visit. I am sure it was a special day!!
